Boating but on a Canal not the Ogwen!

Phew, its been an interesting Easter break from Uni! I came back down to Taunton on 24th March and have been home listening to mum rant about green stuff and wrestling sheep, its been fun. In between I've been working away at the UK's best Motorway Services apparently aka Roadchef!
However the last 3 days I've had a nice constant change of scenery as myself and Bertie, my long haired hippie brother caught a train to Pewsey to join Dad and Maggie on their new canal boat! Its very slow but fun all the same! Heres some pics!

An awesome entrance into Bath this afternoon, which provided a perfect spot for a cuppa tea!

Dads boat, really nice but a little slow and ungnarly for my liking!

I had an ace time but I think its not something I could do too long and too intensively! But nice to do something different!
Lets just hope I get all my uni work done so that I can go out in my boat.
Thats all for now, I know, really boring but oh well!

Cwm Llan! An ace way to spend Valentines day!

Sat here contemplating doing work and finishing my masters application, I've decided to update my blog!

I had an ace Tuesday and Wednesday, Tuesday evening being spent at the Beacon climbing centre and then a trip up part of the way up the minors track on Snowdon on Wednesday!! This was to paddle the Cwn Llan with Mitch, Convict (aka Chris Headleand), Sara and Neil! Was an ace day! Here are some of my highlights.......Me on one of the cool slides (all pics by Sara)

It was an excellent day and nice to do some boating for once, there's been a serious lack of rain in North Wales ever since the exam period finished, hmmmm seems convenient! Plus I'm still down in the dump about my broken boat so its all good man! I may borrow that boat more in the future!

Trip up Y Garn

This is my first post, I stole the pictures from Tom, cheers dude, there will be many more exciting adventures (in my opinion) blogged in future!We climbed up this mountain, its the one that's out of picture on the right!
On Saturday myself, Tom, Sara, Iain and Mitch took a walk/scramble up Y Garn! Ace day but unfortunately it was clouded out at the top!

After a long and fun walk we got to the top! Bit of snow about which was cool and plenty of other walkers about which is coolThis is the start of the walk back down! Was a little scary for me as being a bit scared of heights, the walk down in some places seemed a little sketchy.
A great day was had, it was great to get out as the day before had been spent feeling ill with a hangover!
